US Fish and Wildlife Service Communication Equipment

Special Notice: Notification on the Intent to Sole Source. United States Fish and Wildlife Service Under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Fish & Wildlife Services, Region 4 Contracting and General Services intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price order to Williams Communication. Class Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition and Waiver of Publication Requirements: 41 USC 253(c)(1); FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain the communication equipment, programming, and encryption needed to maintain compliance with the Radio Service Agreement between US Fish and Wildlife Service and Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future proposes.
