The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center Yorktown, VA has a requirement to procure SIX (6) HTS-2 Eaton Training Services Hydraulic Training System Hydraulic Simulators to be utilized for the MK-06 Hydraulic Systems and Equipment course, which is the USCG’s premier hydraulic training “C” School for Machinery Technicians (MK) and Electrician’s Mates (EM). The course is designed to aid technicians in troubleshooting, grooming, and safely operating hydraulic systems located in almost all Coast Guard platforms, onboard Training Center Yorktown. This is a notice of intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source Purchase Order to Eaton Hydraulics, acquired by Danfoss, on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated award date is on or around 29 SEPTEMBER 2021. This notice is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
