Synopsis Solicitation Number W91YTZ-06-T-0104 Classification: 65 Medical Dental & Veterinary Equipment and Supplies This is a notice of the Govt intent to award a Sole Source firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) two year contract to AMO USA, Inc. the sole mfg and distributor of the VISX S4 Excimer Laser System for estimated annual quantities o f 400 pkg programmed CustomVue High Myopia Treatment Cards #0030-4835; 1000 Standard two-treatment Key Cards #0030-3057-11 with 2000 License fee (2 per card). The anticipated award date is 1 August 2006 for a base year with a one year option to 31 July 200 8. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and 6.302-1 for Other than Full and Open Competition. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination not t o compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Govt.
