In accordance with FAR 6.302-5, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Acquisition Service - Frederick, 8490 Progress Drive, Suite 100, Frederick, MD 21701 intends to award a sole source award as authorized by statute under Public Law 109-461 to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with the requirements contained in FAR Part 5 and under the authority of 38 USC § 8127(b) and VAAR 819.7007. This constitutes the only announcement; and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs, Acquisition Service- Frederick has a requirement for office furniture and office furniture services for the Office of Administration, Human Resource Management. The VA intends to award a firm fixed- price contract for the above-mentioned office furniture and services. The period of performance for the contract will be September 26, 2012 through May 24, 2013. The contract will be performed in Washington DC. In accordance with VAAR 819.7007, award will be made on a sole source basis to Pomerantz Acquisition Corporation, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
