99 -- Carpet Removal and Installation

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the removal and installation of carpet for HQ ARPC. The service will include installation of 5960 Square Yards of tile carpet and removal of 5960 Square Yards of carpet. The award will go to Advanced Flooring Solutions, 820 Sixteenth St Suite 315, Denver, CO 80202. This requirement is a sole source due to the fact that the installation vendor must utilize the Herman Miller lift system to avoid Herman Miller systems furniture warranty violations. The 460th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Questions should be directed to John L.
