This serves as a "Notice of Intent" to award a sole source contract to Replacement, LTD for Tableware. The 11th Wing, Bolling AFB, DC plans to negotiate with Replacement, LTD to purchase this unique china pattern, to include crystal and flatware, for use by, for all Military Special Command Positions worldwide, designated by The Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD). Recently OSD approved two new Special Command Positions requiring immediate shipment of China, crystal and flatware within 30 days following contract award. Replacements, LTD is currently, the only vendor that can meet the shipment deadline and match all patterns and designs in the current inventory at a cost well below the current market rates.
