Notice of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Direct Award

RE: Notice of Intent for the Government to Issue a Sole Source Award Contract to Hardwire LLC for Custom-Made Blinds The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Hardwire LLC., 1947 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke, MD 21851, for custom-made blinds. In order to meet the Government’s mission, custom-made commercial blind sets are required in support of a mission critical requirement. As such, the custom-made blinds must be compatible in all aspects such as form, fit, and function. The Contracting Officer has determined that Hardwire LLC has the capability to not only meet all salient requirements for the custom-made blinds but also deliver the product under an urgent schedule; therefore, only one source will be solicited. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) “Soliciting from a single source.” The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 339999, All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The estimated amount for this procurement ranges from $20,000.00 to $65,000.00. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations.
