93--Synopsis of Sole Source Contract Action (Nothing herein should be misconstrued as a request for proposal.)

Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 13.501, the U.S. Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Kirkhill-TA Co. dba SFS Div located in Brea, CA, for seals required by part number to complete the fabrication of complexing passageways by the Shelter Technology, Engineering, and Fabrication Directorate (STEFD) of the Natick Soldier Research, Development, & Engineering Center. Kirkhill-TA is the only manufacturer of the seals and the award of the Purchase Order will not result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the STEFDs requirements. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
