The Healthcare Acquisition Activity-North intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price, sole source award to Henry Schein for their Dental Office System System at the 90th Medical Group F.E. Warren AFB,WY. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for commercially available items. Only one responsible source is reasonably available due to the fact that Henry Schein is the only vendor for this propietary equipment that is already in place. The procurement of the Dental Office System System will seamlessly expand and integrate with the existing systems, components, and equipment to allow Warren AFB to standardize its systems. Currently, Warren AFB is using existing Henry Schein hardware and software at its Dental Department. This vendor is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only source that can furnish the requirements to the exclusion of other sources (e.g., unique features, function of the item, direct replacement parts/components for existing equipment, patent, copyright, and proprietary data). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339116 and the size standard is 500 Employees. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
