The Department of the Army, Healthcare Acquisition Activity- North intends to negotiate a Sole Source commercial item procurement with A-DEC Inc., to provide a 500 Series Dental Delivery System. This will include twelve A-Dec 511 chairs, 551 Assistant's Instrumentation, Monitor Mount, and Stainless Steel Trays. This proposed procurement is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than May 9, 2013, 12:00p.m. EST. This is a Sole Source Justification for a 500 Series Dental Delivery System for the 52nd Medical Group at Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany. The Spangdahlem Dental Clinic is equipped primarily with A-Dec systems and to ensure maintenance continuity and components compatibility with the new system we are requiring. They previously purchased 14 units in January 2013 and have now placed this requisition for an additional 12 units.
