6515--Notice of Intent to Sole Source Electro-Convulsive Therapy Consumable Supplies

The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed priced Blanket Purchase Agreement for a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods exercisable at the discretion of the Government with a small business, Somatics, LLC, located at 730 Commerce Drive, Unit 101 in Venice, Florida 34292-1750. The contractor shall provide electroconvulsive consumable supplies in accordance with the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the Veteran Affairs owned Thymatron System. Please review the attached Notice of Intent to Sole Source and the Draft Statement of Work. Any response to this notice shall show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties shall submit clear evidence in accordance with the Notice of Intent to Sole Source with their capability to meet the Government requirement.
