INTENT TO COMPETE AMONG OEM-AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS SDVOSB SET-ASIDE THIS IS NOTICE OF INTENT TO COMPETE AMONGST STRYKER-AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS FOR Stryker Brand Standard Anesthesia Booms; Stryker Brand Standard Powered Equipment Booms; and Custom Nurse Station for VAMC Providence RI: This is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO1) New England publishes this Pre-Solicitation Notice of intent to solicit solely between Stryker Sales LLC, OEM-Authorized distributors. This is not a solicitation. NCO 1 intends to solicit to Stryker-authorized distributors under the streamlined and simplified procedures of FAR 12.6 and VAAR 813.003-70(c)/38 US 8127(d), as an SDVOSB set-aside, affording competition to the maximum extent practicable. Stryker has stated that they are the Sole Manufacturer of the S-Series Boom Upgrade; distribution and service is proprietary to Stryker and its Authorized Distributors: Beacon Point Associates TrillaMed Four Points Technology Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions Academy Medical NCO1 intends to obtain Stryker S-Series Boom Upgrade, Implementation, and Installations Services, from these unique sources. Anticipated period of performance is one-year. The applicable NAICS code is 339113 with an 800 employees size standard. The PSC is 6515. The solicitation will be issued to Stryker- authorized distributors on or about 6/5/23. Since the brand name S-Series Boom Upgrade is exclusively available from the OEM s authorized distributors, no solicitation will be posted to Contracting Opportunities Sam.gov. This procurement is subject to the prohibitions contained in VA Acquisition Regulation 852.212-71 Gray Market Items and 852.212-72, Gray Market and Counterfeit items. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract.
