NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT TO CAREFUSION SOLUTIONS, LLC. The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health Care System (NF/SG VHS) intends to negotiate and procure fifteen (15) Pyxis MedStation 3500 Profile 6 Drawer Main Units with up to four (4) Cubie/Mini Drawers, with BioID, as well as fifteen (15) Smart Remote Manager software module and electronic latch systems. These items will be procured from Carefusion Solutions, LLC, located at 3750 Torrey View Ct, San Diego, CA, 91230. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 339112. The Government intends to issue an award for this requirement on a Sole Source Basis, per FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), wherein "the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source." These items are components of an already existing pharmaceutical control and dispensary system in the NF/SG VHS, and are required to be compatible with the existing system. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors must submit one of the aforementioned documents within 5 calendar days after the publication of this notice. Submission of capability statement, proposal, or quote shall be made via email, to Brian J. Shepard, Contracting Officer, at [email protected]. All responses received will be evaluated. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement from Carefusion Solutions, LLC. Costs associated with the preparation and submission of information and any follow-up information requests are the responsibility of the offeror, and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
