The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Arobella Medical, Inc., 5929 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, LA 71360 to purchase their Qoustic Wound Therapy System, for the following reasons: It is essential to purchase the Arobella Medical, Inc. Qoustic Wound Therapy System, since it contains the following salient features that no other company makes in a similar product: 35kHz 10mm surgical curette No required disposable - functions with primary IV tubing sets and bags or normal saline stock within the facility. Hand piece does not require auto-claving. It is essential to purchase the above mentioned equipment from Arobella Medical Inc., since they are the Sole Exclusive Seller of their Qoustic Wound Therapy System.
