This acquisition is in support of the VA Redding Outpatient Clinic. The VA Redding OPC is in need of a Computerized Dynamic Posturography. This item can only be procured from the manufacturer, Bertec, or an authorized distributor for Bertec. The Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC), National Activations Office (NAO) intends to issue a brand name solicitation to JE Hurley, Inc. Pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(b), COs may use other than full and open competition when awarding to SDVOSB and VOSB firms for procurements under the SAT. This procurement is for a Brand Name item. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1000 employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with procedures in FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. If Vendors believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement.
