700 Contracting Squadron, Kapaun Air Station Bldg 2767, D-67661 Kaiserslautern hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed purchase order on a sole source basis to Plastic-View. The proposed contract action is for Window Shades for USAFE's ATCT which the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with the only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302. Firms may identify their interest by responding to this notice and submitting either a capability statement or a quote/proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 6 working days after date of publication of this notice (19 September 2017) will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete, or not, will be based on the responses received, and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
