Pre-award Proposed Contract Action Notice (Special Notice) In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (2009), this notice is provided for informational purposes only. The contract vehicle intended to be issued is a Purchase Order (PO) for a single GSA Public Building Services (PBS) managed location in Washington, D.C. Issue of RFQ shall be on or around May 27, 2011 via GSA IT Solutions Shop (ITSS). Interested GSA Schedule contractors must be registered in GSA's ITSS Procurement System by 5/27/11 in order to be issued the RFQ. To register in ITSS, go to http://it-solutions.gsa.gov. Project/Work Description: This PO intends to utilize the Federal Supply Schedules, schedule 71 contract holders with Special Item Number 711 97 Rental Office Furniture which are ARRA certified. GSA, PBS, National Capital Region is in need of rental office furniture for the Export-Import Bank consisting of Private Offices, Workstations, Chairs, Casegoods and installation services. Full funding for requirements to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, is required.
