NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD--The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, & Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Orlando, FL, hereby gives notice of intent to award a brand name sole source purchase order to Herman Miller for office furniture. This special notice is prepared in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement constitutes the intent to award on a sole source basis; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
