This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Center - Fort Knox intends to award a sole source basis a contract to Custom Comfort Medtek, LLC, 3939 Forsyth Rd Ste A, Winter Park, FL 32792-6835, for 17 each MD148 Medical Grade Desks, Flat Top, Single Pedestal, for use in examination rooms in the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Medical Station to match existing furniture. This announcement constitutes the only notice. However, the government will review any submittals received within five business days after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of any proposal.
