The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Directorate of Procurement, on behalf of USSOCOM Program Executive Office-Maritime (PEO-M), is hosting an Industry Engagement Event for Undersea Systems Capabilities on 12 & 13 April 2022, at NTS Pinewood located at 6701 South Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33611. Industry Event: This event is the second in a series of market research events for open constructive conversation between the Undersea Systems Program Management Office (USPMO) and industry. The objective is to communicate Undersea Systems acquisition approach, program/technical requirements, and planned activities. Our interest is in obtaining industry feedback into USPMO’s acquisition approach, program/technical requirements, and planned activities. USPMO will have a question/answer panel where selected panel members will directly answer industry partner questions. If you have specific question(s) you would like addressed during this open forum, please submit your written question(s) in advance when you RSVP. Depending on the volume of questions received, your question(s) may be consolidated with others or addressed individually. An open mic for on-the-spot questions will be available during the event. However, the panel will address pre-submitted questions first and depending on time remaining will open the floor to questions. Schedule: Industry Engagement will be dedicated to an information briefing, Q&A session, and one-on-one vendor/Government meetings. The one-on-one meetings are limited to contractors whose intent is to submit a proposal as a prime contractor. These meetings will be limited to 30-minute sessions with the goal of discussing the vendor’s current capabilities in regard to fulfilling the Undersea Systems Capabilities requirements. Contractors who do not intend to submit a white paper or demonstrate a system may still attend the Industry Day information briefing and general Q&A session. If desired, please request a one-on-one meeting on your registration form. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this market research is 336611 – Ship Building and Repairing.
