J -- Maintenance and Support for the Building Energy Management Support System at 1900 E St. NW, Washington, DC

The Office of Personnel Management intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. for maintenance and support for the building energy management support system and related computer components for its facility located at 1900 E Street, NW, Washington, DC under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). This maintenance and support is a continuation of a program that began on October 1, 2001. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide similar services above must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 10 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
