The 177th Fighter Wing intends to sole source of the Repairs to the DSC 501 Vehicle Barrier to Confederate Group LLC, DBA Total Barrier Works, 8005-C-Creighton Parkway Mechanicsville, VA 23111. The vendor is currently performing the annual maintenance of the vehicle barriers. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2, unusual and compelling urgency. Awarding to another vendor will result in a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. All qualified sources must respond not later than 11am, EST, Wednesday, 27 May 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
