Reset/Refit/Repair of 3 (three) GET35KW8TN Generator/ECU/Trailer units (GETs).

Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to HDT Engineered Technologies, Inc., 6051 North Lee Highway Fairfield, VA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(i), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.â€� This requirement is for Reset/Refit/Repair of 3 (three) GET35KW8TN Generator/ECU/Trailer units (GETs). These are towable trailer-based systems designed to support highly mobile life support and command and control systems. These systems are (Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)) and are proprietary and/or patented by HDT. Detailed specification, quality testing procedures, and factory parts are the intellectual property of the contractor. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
