Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) is awarding a Purchase Order for the repair services of the following equipment: 6 each Pulse Transformer, Sora PN: TP1040 Revision C, ASN: R400-3A7T1 to Sora Power, Inc. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one responsible source, the original equipment manufacturer, Sora Power, Inc. Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any small business available to compete for this required repair service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS code and key words: ‘335311" and ‘repair, NEXRAD, T1, pulse transformer' and just key words: ‘repair, NEXRAD, T1, pulse transformer'; ‘repair, NEXRAD, pulse transformer'; and ‘repair, pulse transformer'. A search of "Repair NEXRAD T1 pulse transformer"; "Repair NEXRAD pulse transformer"; and "Repair pulse transformer" in GSA's eLibrary returned no matches. A sources sought was posted on FedBizOpps on January 20, 2015 for 5 days, no responses were received.
