Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, the original equipment manufacturer, Vaisala, Inc. A Sources Sought was posted to FBO on August 18, 2014 2014 for 5 days and no responses were received. Market research: ASN: S100-2MT4-3A1A1 Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any small business available to compete for this required repair and calibration service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS code ‘334511, 334519' and key words: ‘repair, dewpoint sensors, Vaisala sensors'; and just key words: ‘repair, dewpoint sensors, Vaisala sensors'; ‘repair, Vaisala sensors, Vaisala DTS 1'; and ‘DTS1'. Searches of "repair of dew-point sensors" and "Vaisala DTS1" in GSA's eLibrary also returned no matches.
