SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 16 Network Contracting Office (NCO 16), on behalf of The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) Houston, Texas, intends to negotiate with Faxitron Bioptics, LLC on a sole source basis pursuant to VAAR 873 & 38 USC 8153 and FAR 6.302-1, for a BioVision Surgical Biopsy Specimen Imaging System manufactured by Faxitron Bioptics, LLC. This procurement will be utilized in the Operating Room at the MED VAMC. The NAICS code is 334517 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is; Faxitron Bioptics, LLC, 3440 E Britannia DR Suite #150, Tucson, AZ 85706-5006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received prior to the close date of this announcement.
