66--Synopsis of Open Market Items, Gas Chromatograph (GC) High-Resolution Mass Spec

The Department of Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). The anticipated contractor is Thermo Electron North America LLC, 1400 Northpoint Parkway, Suite 10, West Palm Beach, FL 33407-1976. DIA has a requirement for the procurement of Gas Chromatograph (GC) High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) equipment with accompanying accessories. This includes the Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris GC Mass Spectrometer. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.
