Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source for repair and/or calibration, the original equipment manufacturer, Vaisala, Inc. Market research: Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any small business concerns available to compete for this required repair service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS codes ‘334515' and key words: ‘repair, radiation hazard, NBM-520'; and just key words: ‘repair, radiation hazard, NBM-520' and ‘repair, radiation hazard, meter'. A search of "repair radiation hazard meter NBM-520" and "repair radiation hazard meter" in GSA's eLibrary returned no matches.
