RESPONSE DATE: 10 JUNE 2013 The U. S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Division, intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i)) with GrayWolf Sensing Solutions,6 Research Drive Shelton, Connecticut 06484 USA. The contractor shall provide required sensors and gas calibration hoods for current GrayWolf DirectSense probes. The US Army Public Health Command (USAPHC) already owns and operates the probes which require new sensors and gas calibration hoods and GrayWolf Sensing Solutions is the only vendor who manufactures and distributes these propriety items. These unique sensors detect and monitor dangerous gases in industrial areas. The specific equipment requested is required for the PHC Industrial Hygiene Program to maintain the capability to respond to worker exposure monitoring efforts in support of worker, union, management and regulatory concerns for determining worker safety and health. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334513 and the size standard is 500.
