58 -- Audio System Upgrade

The proposed contract action is for a sound system to be installed in Mitchell Hall located at the Air Force Academy, USAF, CO. for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.206. Amatek Inc is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concern. The sound system includes (2) Sure P4800 System Processors, Eight(8) Crown CTS Amplifiers, Twnety-Four(24) JBL 4548-A-08 Subwoofers, Ninety-one (91) Tanoy CMs8-TD2 loudspeakers, one (1) Lowell L262-42 Equipment Rack, Two (2) Shure US24/58 wireless microphones and Two (2) JBL Control 1 Monitors for Rack Room IAW with the requirements of the National Historical Society to include installation. The NAICS is 334310 and the size standard is 750. NO WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
