Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Responder 5 Nurse Call System Integration The Department of Veterans SAO West, Network Contracting Office 19, located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to enter into sole source purchase order agreement authorized by FAR 13.106- 1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to the small business, Beacon Communications, LLC, located at 3211 S Zuni Street, Englewood, Colorado 80110. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334290 and the Business Size Standard is 750 employees. The contractor shall provide the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMRVAMC) in Aurora, Colorado with all labor and equipment necessary to integrate the Rauland-Borg Responder 5 nurse call system to the Vocera personal communications system and Code Blue paging system that is currently installed at the RMRVAMC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, March 13th, 2018. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
