Digital Video Downlink Receivers (DVDR) for CBP's Coastal Interceptor Vessels (CIVs) - Sole Source Notification

The purpose of this action is to provide the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) notice of intent to issue a sole source delivery order to Broadcast Microwave Services (BMS) for Digital Video Downlink Receivers (DVDR) as required for AMO’s Coastal Interceptor Vessels (CIVs). The BMS DVDRs are already installed in thirty-three (33) current CIVs and with the procurement of the additional DVDRs the entire fleet of all CIVs will remain uniform with all communication devices. The anticipated contract award is anticipated in August 2020 with an estimated delivery period of 6-months after receipt of order (ARO). This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. The Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) will be posted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a).
