The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) seeks other than full and open competition and intends to award a sole source contract to UNO Seisakusho Co., LTD for UPPER DIE KNIVES. UNO is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the products required by the Government. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 333514, Special Die and Tool, Die Set, Jig, and Fixture Manufacturing. Under the Authority - Citations: 41 U.S.C. 5(3). Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii) " Only one source will satisfy agency requirements", for this critical product. This notice is not a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responses shall be sent to James Mills on or before May 8, 2017, no later than 10:00 AM EST.
