9930--Notice of Intent to Sole Source 2030A ProGator Utility (2 ea) Houston National Cemetery

SPECIAL NOTICE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Pacific District, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Brookside Equipment Sales, Inc, DUNS 078436011. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contract will be firm-fixed-price. Houston National Cemetery has a requirement and immediate need for two 2030A ProGator Utility Vehicles, to include the standard front and rear tires, 4WD traction unit, factory installed auxiliary hydraulics and cargo box. The utility vehicle has characteristics critical to maintain cemetery operations which allow for heavy hauling, spraying, and top dressing while reducing turf damage and The Contactor will provide both equipment and delivery to the cemetery. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer no later than 11:00AM PST, September 04, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in enough detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
