Surmax Armor is a proprietory composite of General Dynamics. II. GENERAL. A. The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for Surmax Armor which is used in the production of armor kits for Army vehicles.
