--Request for Quotation for production of Right Circular Cylindrical Steel Projectiles

The following is a sources sought synopsis for a quotation based on specifications provided below. The US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC) intends to procure right circular cylindrical steel projectiles in ac cordance with the specifications provided in the drawing that can be found at Natick Contracting Department Website under Current Acquisition, solicitation# W911QY-7303-9010 (www3.natick.army.mil). The drawing provides specifications and dimensions for ei ght different cylindrical steel projectiles. The quotation should provide pricing for quantities of 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 for each of the eight sizes. Adjustments to the projectile diameter or length or both length and diameter may be made after initial evaluation. The first lot of projectiles will be expected 30 days after award of the first evaluation contract. Upon award of second large purchase contract, the first lot of projectiles will be expected 30 days after award. Each month after, p roduction will be expected to be at a minimum of 500/month per projectile size. Any questions should be sent to [email protected].
