13--Notice of Intent to Add Caliber .50, 5.56mm and 7.62mm Reference Round Assessments to an Existing Small Caliber Contract

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) and the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) intends to award a sole source contract add-on for Caliber .50, 5.56mm and 7.62mm Reference Round Assessments under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement will be added to Contract W52P1J-11-C-0038 for Small Caliber Ammunition awarded to the Olin Corporation-Winchester Division, 600 Powder Mill Road, East Alton, IL. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals but instead this notice is published to allow for potential subcontracting opportunities.
