Army Contracting Command-Adelphi Division intends to aware a sole source contract to Marotta Controls, Inc., 78 Boonton Avenue, Montville, NJ 07045 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a), quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark for one (1) MV172D Pilot Operated Air Valve. The required air valve is compatible with an existing gas gunning system at the ARL Experimental Facility located at Aberdeen Proving Ground and does not require replacement or modifications to other gas gunning system components. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems code is 332912 with a size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received by 1 PM EST Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Firms that believe that it can meet this requirement must give written notice to the Contracting Officer.
