95--Replace Megadoor Beam

The 177th Fighter Wing intends to sole source the genuine replacement part of a bottom door beam to Megadoor Opening Solutions, P.O. Box 2957 Peachtree City, GA 30269. This is an urgent and compelling requirement due to the door's location. The award will be made for a single, firm fixed-price contract for the contractor to provide, deliver and install the beam. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source. Megadoor is the manufacturer of the Government-owned equipment. All qualified sources must respond not later than 1000hrs, Eastern Time, Tuesday, 20 May 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should be e-mailed to SMSgt.
