The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a single source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to US Tower Corp. for the offsite repair and return of MTU3107MDPL Mobile Tower Unit (MTU) as required by the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) in Mayport, FL. US Tower Corp. is the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) only authorized representative for the MTU Parts. US Tower Corp. is the sole provider of their equipment, maintenance/calibration, and training. All equipment and materials are patented/copyrighted and are only distributed by US Tower Corp. US Tower Corp. is the only entity that can execute this work as a number of key proprietary elements, the specific content and strategies, are not available from other sources. US Tower Corp. is the equipment, training, and calibration designer and, as such, has full proprietary rights and they have not released to any vendor. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that these items fall under is 332311, with a size standard of 750 Employees. The notice of intent is for information purposes only. This notice does not constitute a request for a proposal, request for quote or an invitation to bid. All sources eligible to provide the requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received, within two (2) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are available, and that this is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a single source contract, then a single source acquisition award will be made.
