Notice of Intent Sole Source – Visual Horizons Inc., DBA Store Smart The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award to Visual Horizons Inc., DBA Store Smart 180 Metro Park Rochester, NY, 14623-2610 This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. .The purpose of the acquisition is to procure custom supplies for the NMC’s manufacture of Mariner credentials. The manufacturing of these credentials are the focal point of all we do at the NMC. These credentials look similar to a U.S. Passport and are manufactured in-house at NMC using very exclusive materials, which are specifically designed with security features to discourage counterfeiting. Specific supply requirements. Only one vendor is able to provide items with exact dimensions required by the U.S Coast Guard. Though numerous vendors were found, none offered the specific product dimensions needed by the government. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG's intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG's public notice requirements. If the Agency does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with Visual Horizon Inc., DBA Store Smart as the only source and a delivery order will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
