U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD intends award a SOLE SOURCE procurement for Custom DNA Vaccine for Puumala virus for use in a GLP pre-clinical study Gene-Gun delivered vaccine for Puumala virus. The required devices are manufactured by Nova Laboratories and Nova has exculsive rights to data, materials and product required for this requirement. The government believes that NOVA Laboratories, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b)(2), is the only sour ce who can provide the required service for manufacturing the required DNA Vaccine. However, statements of capability to fulfill this requirement received from other responsible businesses prior to close of business 30 August 05 will be evaluated.
