A--Development of BacMam Reagents in Support of Research Protocol USARIEM #11-11-AEZ

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is issuing an Intent to Procure via Sole Source the award of a firm fixed price purchase order with Life Technologies Corporation (LTC), Carlsbad, CA to develop reagents using Baculovirus suitable for Mammalian (BacMam) cell culture use in support of research study protocol USARIEM #11-11-AEZ entitled: Control of muscle development of phosphoinositide 3-OH lipid kinase beta in cultured cells and mice (Mus musculus). The estimated period of performance for this acquisition is 6 months. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible, interested parties may identify their interest by submitting capability information by Friday, 25 April 2014 at 3:00 p.m. EST in order to establish the ability of the responder to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government; information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
