CHANGES TO SECTION (IX) TO REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF ADDITIONAL PRODUCT SAMPLES FOR FIELD BIO ASSAY TESTING AND TYPE AND VERSATILITY APPROVAL (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation will result in an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price contract with a base year and four option years. (ii) The reference number is AG-6395-S-08-0036 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. (2) Dispensers shall be compatible with use with the Better World Manufacturing Inc. Multi-Lure trap and shall be able to fit snugly into the well top of the trap. (3) Handling procedures should prevent loss of lure and eliminate lure contamination of trap. (4) Dispensers should be constructed in a fashion that is conducive to outside conditions. (5) Dispensers shall not leak liquids or deteriorate in sunlight or dissolve in wet or damp conditions. (6) Lure duration should be six to eight weeks but not less than six weeks.
