Synopsis: Synopsis: Medical-Grade Liquid Bulk Oxygen The Department of Veterans Affairs Oklahoma City, OK, currently, has the requirement for the distribution and supply of Medical-Grade Liquid Bulk Oxygen. The VAMC do not own their bulk oxygen tanks; the contractor shall provide a contractor-owned tank with an appropriate back-up system (i.e. reserve tank or cylinder bank). The base contract period of performance for this requirement will be from June 1, 2010 through May 30, 2011. The Contract awarded under the solicitation will include four (4) one-year option periods which may be exercised by the Government. Please note that the contract specifying the installation of contractor-owned equipment will include a 45 day transition period at the beginning and end of the contract period. The proposed method of procurement for this requirement is unrestricted due to evidence of screening for required sources of Supplies and Services through market research.
