FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY: The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(f (1)(A) - FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements, to Linweld Inc. (DBA: Matheson). In anticipation of a national BPA set to be in place by 1st quarter of FY16, Linweld, is the current contract holder under VA255-P-1290 which is set to expire on Aug 31st 2015. They will continue to provide services until such contract is set in place. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
