NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - 02 February 2012 - ACC ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND intends to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to the Whithner Corporation on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001: Triggering Breakscreens, Qty. 42,000 CLIN 0002: UPS Ground Shipping This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-30 effective 15 January 2009. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of it unique requirements. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government with an award date on or about 8 February 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
