Product Manager Soldier Protective Equipment (PM SPE) would like announce the Next Generation Advanced Bomb Suit (NGABS) System Pre-Solicitation meeting. Date: 9 May 2017 Location: Ft. Belvoir Officers Club 5500 Schulz Cir #20 Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to communicate the anticipated acquisition and contracting approach as well as the potential integration and technical requirements of the NGABS System. The Government's intent is to brief Industry on the draft technical, quality assurance, and proposal requirements followed by open discussion. The remainder of the day will be available for individual vendors to schedule a 30-minute meeting to discuss vendor specific questions with the NGABS Engineers, Product Officer and the Contracting Personnel. Each vendor is limited to one (1) 30-minute meeting and these break-out meetings will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. This meeting is optional and attendance is not mandatory for proposal submission if a formal solicitation is released.
