Intent to Sole Source for Ice

Joint Base San Antonio intends to award a sole source blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to Mireles Party Ice for 20lb bags ands 10lb blocks of ice, delivery to Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, and be provided with 8 merchandiser freezers. US Army MEDCOM provided the 502nd Contracting Squadron a list of vendors in this area that have approved sources of water and cansupply ice. US Army MEDCOM has the authority to approve/disapprove water sources due to the regualtions listed below. All contractors with approved watersources were contacted. Due to the estimated dollar value, this would be a small business set aside if it were to be competed.
