56--INTENT TO AWARD

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Installation Contracting Office, on behalf of the Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Directorate of Public Works (DPW) JBM-HH, Virginia intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract in accordance with Far Subpart 19.8(b) under the expressed authority of 15 U.S.C. 637(a). The JBM-HH DPW has a requirement to investigate the joints in the walls and roofs, create a report for owner review, and make complete repairs IAW with best practices of the Precast Institute and Masonry Institute for repairing building joints systems including flashing Buildings: 205, 325, 330, 404, 405, 407, 414, 452, and 480. The Government intends to make a sole source 8(a) award to Sabree Environmental & Construction, Inc, 5457 Twin Knolls Rd STE 101, Columbia, MD, 21045-2911. The FSC Code is 5680 and the NAICS Code is 238390. This action will result in a single Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance of eighty days (80).
